Senior Software Engineer - .Net, Azure
London, UK
Permanent | Hybrid | 3 days pw
£110,000 - £125,000 + 25%
Curated is partnered with a high-growth, technology business, one of the most profitable in their sector, to find a Senior Software Engineer to join their expanding engineering team in London.
With revenues exceeding $1bn their platform handles complex, high-stakes transactions at scale across a multi-step customer journey.
Every part of that journey is being rebuilt from the ground up, with a product-led team, a modern stack, and AI woven into the core. The ambition is to scale the business 2 to 3x. This role helps build the technology that gets them there.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You will own technical design and delivery end to end, work closely with a technical lead and product, and turn complex problems into elegant, scalable solutions. Not someone who waits for tickets.
Someone who codes, contributes to technical direction, and cares deeply about how the team builds.
What they are looking for:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of delivering complex, high-impact work
- Proficient in .NET Core/C#, with strong fundamentals across distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native development
- Experience with Azure, SQL/CosmosDB, TypeScript, and React. Domain-driven design and event sourcing are strong advantages
- Comfortable contributing to architectural decisions and raising technical risk early
- Collaborative by default. You give useful code reviews, pair readily, and make the engineers around you better
- Active adopter of AI-native development practices and agentic tooling
- Industry background matters less than engineering depth and mindset. We are deliberately hiring from outside the sector
Why it is worth a look:
- Greenfield development at real scale, inside a profitable, well-capitalised global business with a five to ten year technology roadmap
- Small, senior engineering team with a direct line to the CTO and genuine influence from day one
- High autonomy and real ownership of meaningful parts of the system, not a corner of a legacy codebase
- AI is central to the roadmap and the way the team works, not a buzzword but a primary tool for how software gets built and shipped
