Role: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 6 Months+ (B2B)
Location: Krakow, Poland (2-3 days onsite)
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Proof of Concept PoC for an OpenSource Workload Automation platform and support its evolution into a production grade enterprise solution
- Design build deploy and operate containerized platforms on Kubernetes
- Implement and manage workload automation orchestration and processing pipelines
- Design develop and maintain CICD pipelines and deployment automation
- Build infrastructure automation and platform engineering capabilities
- Support engineering teams with DevOps best practices including reliability repeatability observability and secure by design deployments
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones
- Drive technical outcomes through strong ownership communication and delivery focus
- Support testing practices including automation testing integration testing release validation and quality engineering
- Contribute to platform scalability monitoring hardening and operational readiness
To be successful in this role you should have
- Hands on years of experience in DevOps Platform Engineering Site Reliability Engineering SRE or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in enterprise delivery and production environments
- Experience with Workload Automation platforms
- Experience with Kafka and Event Driven Architectures
- Experience with Apache Airflow or workflow orchestration platforms
- Strong coding and scripting skills using Python Java or similar programming languages
- Experience designing and implementing CICD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure Automation and Platform Engineering
- Strong testing mindset with experience in automation testing integration testing and release validation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills particularly across distributed global teams
- Ability to work independently and drive technical delivery outcomes
- Experience with Jenkins is desirable
- Experience with Ansible is desirable
- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions is preferred
- Experience converting PoCs into production grade platforms is advantageous
- Experience with monitoring observability platform hardening and scalability practices is beneficial
