Senior Software Engineer (Billing & Subscriptions Engineering)

- 7+ years of programming experience with full stack technologies such Java, Kotlin or TypeScript
- 1+ year professional experience leveraging AI to improve personal productivity in service of building complex SaaS feature sets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative spirit
- 7+ years software development experience building highly scalable, highly available applications
- 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Conviction for doing the right things the right way with a history of championing them as such
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, focusing on performance and scalability
- Experience with NOSQL or DynamoDB databases
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like ECS
- Experience improving large-scale event processing systems
- Hands-on experience with Kinesis, Kafka, or similar
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC)
- Experience with stream processing frameworks such as Flink, Spark, or other
