About the Role

This is a contractor position through X-Team. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Founding Ecosystem & Integrations, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling the connection framework that links core web platforms with complex enterprise systems. Working within a fast-paced, high-ownership 0-to-1 environment, you will take one-off integration requests—such as CRM form deliveries or enterprise SAML logins—and transform them into production-grade Next.js and React reference implementations, reusable connectors, developer docs, and AI skills. This is an opportunity to own the integration ecosystem end-to-end, making critical architectural decisions for enterprise clients across universities, healthcare networks, and cultural institutions.
 

Most Important

• Next.js & React Mastery: Proven production track record building modern web applications with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.

• Integration & Auth Depth: Extensive experience integrating third-party systems via REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and implementing enterprise authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML).

• 0-to-1 Autonomy: Proven comfort establishing engineering processes, standards, and architectures from scratch in unstructured environments with minimal hand-holding.

• Technical Writing & DevRel: Exceptional written English skills with the capability to author self-serve, external-facing developer documentation, guides, and SDKs.

Nice to Have

• Enterprise Identity Providers: Hands-on experience with identity providers like Auth0, Okta, WorkOS, or Shibboleth (especially within higher education and healthcare).

• Commerce & Payments: Experience integrating headless commerce platforms or payment processors (Shopify, BigCommerce, Stripe).

• Founding & DevRel Experience: Background in Developer Relations, Technical Writing, or operating as an early-stage startup founding engineer.
