Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, AWS, OCI, GitOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and production troubleshooting.
The role will focus on designing, deploying, automating, and supporting highly available cloud-native environments. A key responsibility will be supporting AWS EKS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) OKE migrations.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, observability, networking, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm and Argo CD/GitOps.
- Support and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and OCI.
- Participate in AWS EKS → OCI OKE migration initiatives.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
- Manage application secrets using External Secrets Operator and cloud-based secret management solutions.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, networking, deployments, and production environments.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in production incident response, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, security, and application teams.
- Establish and maintain DevOps and GitOps best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Argo CD / GitOps.
- Helm.
- AWS, particularly Amazon EKS.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), particularly OCI OKE.
- Hands-on experience with AWS EKS → OCI OKE migrations.
- CI/CD automation.
- Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
- External Secrets Operator.
- Production troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and containerized applications.
- Strong Linux and cloud infrastructure administration experience.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience supporting high-traffic media, streaming, or consumer digital platforms.
- Experience with large-scale production Kubernetes environments.
- Cloud migration and modernization experience.
- Knowledge of networking, security, IAM, and load balancing in AWS/OCI.
- Infrastructure and application performance optimization.
- Automated deployment, rollback, and recovery strategies.
