About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Tech Lead / Java Spring Developer to contribute to the evolution of an application managing reference data for groups of financial statements.
The application integrates with external public and market data providers and supports data capture from unstructured documents. The project aims to improve data quality and consistency across reference data sources, reduce reporting discrepancies and enable faster, more accurate decision-making.
This role combines hands-on development, technical leadership and functional analysis, working closely with business stakeholders and end users.
Main Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable back-end architectures.
- Develop and evolve application components using Java and Spring.
- Implement APIs and other solutions for exposing data.
- Apply CI/CD best practices to standardise build, testing and deployment processes.
- Write and maintain advanced SQL queries using PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in validation activities with end users.
- Apply good engineering practices, including microservices, unit testing and version control.
Required Skills And Experience
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and deep knowledge of the Spring framework.
- Advanced SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, microservices, unit testing and version control.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM Cloud.
- Experience with Docker containerisation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence and ALM.
- Ability and interest in combining Technical Business Analyst, Developer and Tech Lead responsibilities.
- Expert-level English.
- Basic knowledge of French.
