Join Mastercard as a Lead Software Engineer, where you will design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure Open Banking services. - Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, especially in fast-paced, high-impact environments like Financial Services with a strong understanding of compliance needs and regulatory frameworks
- Strong foundation in secure development practices, including cryptography, encryption, and secure communication protocols
- Proficiency in secure coding practices in any of modern languages - Java, C#, Python, Node.js and more. Fluency in OWASP, CWE and vulnerability management -write code that’s not just functional - but fortified
- Experience mentoring engineers, conducting technical interviews, and helping build high-performing teams
- Hands-on experience designing and building secure, scalable systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence, resolve conflicts, and align cross-functional teams
