- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience working in fast-moving environments with high ambiguity and independent ownership
- Comfort with distributed systems, performance optimization, and production reliability
- 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience in high-scale production environments
- Strong systems design skills — comfortable taking ambiguous requirements and building reliable, maintainable solutions
- Familiarity with financial concepts: multi-currency accounting, reconciliation, cross-border compliance
- Experience integrating with third-party financial APIs or international banking partners
- Interest in or exposure to international regulatory environments and compliance requirements
- Experience in fintech, payments, or capital markets (international payment rails, FX, multi-currency ledgers)
