We are seeking an experienced Senior GCP Data Engineer to join a greenfield data programme for a well-funded organisation. This is an opportunity to design and build a modern data platform from the ground up, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, architecture, and delivery strategy.
Remit
- Gather and define business and technical requirements
- Create high-level reference architecture for a new data platform
- Map key business systems and data flows
- Design scalable data models and data structures
- Lead data engineering activities within a greenfield environment
- Recommend and implement best practices across Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Work with stakeholders to establish data foundations and future roadmap
- Utilise Tableflow as part of the solution design and implementation
Experience
- Strong hands-on experience as a Senior Data Engineer
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven track record delivering greenfield data projects
- Experience defining requirements and architecture from scratch
- Strong data modelling and systems integration expertise
- Experience with Tableflow
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
