PWM Customized Solutions team enables business innovation within Pictet Wealth Management (PWM) by helping business users leverage modern technologies, including AI, low-code platforms, and data solutions. The team acts as a bridge between business needs and technology teams, delivering or enabling innovative and compliant solutions that create tangible business value.
Internship Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated student to join the Customized Solutions team for a 12-month internship focused on the design and implementation of PWM's next-generation Agentic AI Platform.
This strategic initiative aims to provide business users with secure, scalable, and governed AI agents capable of supporting knowledge discovery, process automation, decision support, and productivity enhancement across PWM.
The intern will contribute to both the research and implementation aspects of the platform, combining academic work with practical delivery in a real-world banking environment.
Your role
Agentic AI Platform Strategy and Architecture
- Evaluate emerging AI agent technologies, frameworks, and patterns.
- Collaborate with business, IT, security, and data teams to define requirements.
- Support the design of secure, scalable, and reusable platform components.
Governance and Risk Management
- Identify policies, standards, and control mechanisms for responsible AI adoption.
- Help define monitoring, auditability, security, and compliance requirements.
- Research best practices related to AI governance in highly regulated environments.
Platform Implementation
- Participate in the development and configuration of AI agents.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts addressing real business use cases.
- Integrating AI capabilities with enterprise data sources and business applications.
Research and Innovation
- Conduct academic research related to agentic AI systems and enterprise AI platforms.
- Evaluate industry trends and benchmark solutions adopted within the financial services sector.
- Translate research findings into practical recommendations and platform improvements.
Expected Deliverables
- Design recommendations for the PWM Agentic AI Platform architecture.
- AI governance framework proposals and implementation guidelines.
- Prototypes of AI agents addressing business use cases and technical documentation.
Your profile
Education
- Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Science
- Or a related discipline
Technical Skills
- Understanding AI and LLMs.
- Knowledge of software architecture concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, and programming languages.
Personal Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
