About the role
To support enterprise application development and enhancement activities for a financial services project, covering backend microservices, frontend applications, API development, integration and cloud-native deployment.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs
Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React
Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development
Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable
Integrate frontend applications with backend Microservices and REST APIs
Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git
Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication
Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure
About you
3-5 years of working experience
Hands-on experience in Java development
Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
Experience in REST API development and integration
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Jenkins and Git and CI/CD practices
Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
Strong understanding of enterprise application development and SDLC
