About this role:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong .NET and Angular experience to join an international technology project focused on building scalable, cloud-native applications.
The successful candidate will work across both backend and frontend development, contributing to modern microservices architectures, high-performance APIs and responsive web applications, while taking ownership of solutions throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Main responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend and frontend features;
- Develop cloud-native microservices supporting global applications;
- Build high-performance REST APIs and event-driven architectures;
- Take ownership of services end-to-end, including design, development, testing, deployment and monitoring;
- Contribute to software architecture decisions, engineering standards and best practices;
- Develop modern frontend applications using Angular 20+;
- Implement reactive UI/UX patterns using Angular Signals;
- Apply mobile-first development approaches and BEM conventions;
- Work with and contribute to existing Design Systems;
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment;
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues;
- Contribute to scalable software solutions following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles.
Requirements:
Must-have:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience;
- 3+ years of professional backend development experience;
- Strong experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core;
- Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles;
- Experience designing and developing scalable APIs and distributed systems;
- Experience with microservices architectures;
- Experience working with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure;
- Experience with containerized applications, Kubernetes or similar technologies;
- Experience with Angular and modern Angular development patterns;
- Understanding of modern software architecture principles such as Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design;
- Ability to take ownership of systems and deliver production-ready software;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Comfortable working in international and English-speaking teams;
- English level C1/C2;
- Legal documentation allowing employment and travel, such as Portuguese/EU ID, Passport or valid Residence Permit;
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Angular 20+;
- Experience implementing Angular Signals and reactive UI patterns;
- Previous experience working with a Design System;
- Knowledge of mobile-first development approaches;
- Experience using the BEM methodology/convention;
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS);
- Experience with Azure Container Apps (ACA);
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps / CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience with event-driven architectures;
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server;
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted software development tools.
