Join Zeta Global, a leading data-driven marketing technology company, as a Data Engineer in our Copenhagen office. In this role, you will be a key member of our Data Exchange team, contributing to the analysis, development, and maintenance of our complex data infrastructure. You will work closely with global teams and be involved in every stage of the development process. - A strong interest in data engineering and/or the AdTech domain, along with its associated technologies, is highly desirable, as well as knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, particularly Scala

- Hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines
- Solid understanding of database technologies
- Proficiency in Python, Scala or other OOP languages for data engineering and processing tasks
- A strong academic background in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines)
- Strong data analysis skills, including working with large datasets
- Knowledge of distributed data processing for batch workloads
- You are a proactive and independent worker, eager to understand and engage with the company's core problem space
- You possess excellent English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with management and colleagues across our international offices
- You are equally comfortable implementing and optimizing solutions, and you are eager to tackle new challenges

- You recognize that exploring new facets of data often yields greater insights than fine-tuning algorithmic parameters
- 2-3 years of experience with Scala for data processing
- Strong software engineering skills, including experience with CI/CD pipelines and best coding practices
- Familiarity with data integrations and efficient data transfers
- Experience with distributed data processing using Apache Spark
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and query optimization techniques
- Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring data pipelines
- Cloud expertise, particularly AWS, including services such as S3, Glue, Athena and EMR
