Drinkbox Studios is looking for a QA Specialist to join our team to help us complete development of our new game, Blighted. You will be working with our existing QA team to support the development process and ensure we deliver a high-quality game.
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Drinkbox Studios is located in Toronto, Canada. Working from offsite is acceptable, however residence in Ontario, Canada is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Testing all aspects of the game, particularly multiplayer content
- Working with bug tracking software (bugzilla) to create and manage bug reports
- Working with and maintaining test checklists and other testing-related documentation
- Communicating with team members across multiple departments (code, design, art, and more) to coordinate bug fixes
The ideal candidate has:
- Previous experience with the console certification process for the major platforms
- Experience working with version control systems
- A passion for games, and a familiarity with previous Drinkbox Studios titles. Must be able to complete games on high-difficulty modes
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - should be able to communicate clearly and concisely
- A good internet connection for testing networking features
- Ability to work remotely and independently
