Act as Oracle DBA for CIM and related manufacturing systems.

Ensure effective BAU support activities in line with internal customer needs and SLAs.

Perform database monitoring, session management, lock analysis, long‑running query handling and hung session resolution.

Manage L1 and L2 DBA tasks, including incident handling, root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Perform backup and recovery using RMAN, including database cloning (e.g. duplicate database).

Use Oracle utilities and features such as expdp/impdp, partitioning, advanced compression, LOB management and concurrent statistics.

Conduct performance tuning using SQL Plan Management (SPM), hints and SQL Tuning Advisor.

Analyse AWR/ASH/ADDM reports and implement tuning recommendations.

Troubleshoot database issues such as TNS/network connectivity, tablespace/FRA utilisation, user privilege problems and alert log errors.

Manage shift duties together with other team members to support production operations.

Optimisation, Automation & AI‑Assisted Operations

Identify opportunities to automate routine DBA tasks (monitoring, reporting, housekeeping, capacity checks) using scripting and available tools.

Leverage the company’s on‑premise ChatGPT Engine and GitHub Copilot to improve productivity in scripting, documentation and problem analysis.

Collaborate with internal big data teams using Hadoop and Greenplum platforms to ensure efficient data flow between Oracle databases and big data systems.

Support initiatives to integrate database telemetry with big data / analytics platforms for advanced monitoring,
