Build features and fix bugs across the full stack, from defined tasks to features owned through production
Write clean, readable, maintainable code with automated tests for every change
Work confidently in existing codebases and make small, safe changes
Partner with Product and Design to understand customer problems
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Follow coding standards and suggest improvements
Investigate and fix bugs and performance issues
Build securely with input validation, authorization checks, and error handling
Add logging, monitoring, and tests, and use results to improve features
Pair and mob regularly with teammates
Update technical documentation, including API contracts and design notes
Contribute to architectural discussions
Improve tooling, documentation, CI/CD workflows, and team processes
Participate in production support and incident reviews
Report to an Engineering Manager and collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, and Designers
Develop and improve TixTrack's nLiven real-time ticketing platform for performing arts and cultural institutions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Level 1: Up to two years of professional software development experience; internships, co-ops, and substantial personal or open source projects count
Level 2: Two or more years of full stack development in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
Experience building with a modern frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue
Back-end or API development experience
.NET Core is ideal, or a similar stack plus willingness to learn .NET
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases; data modeling experience for Level 2
Experience with automated testing; Level 2 candidates should write unit and integration tests in everyday development
Comfort using Git for version control
Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals
