Junior Kotlin / Java Software Engineer (Custody)

Join our team as a Junior Kotlin/Java Software Engineer and contribute to the development of business-critical services using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. You will work closely with experienced engineers in cross-functional teams, learning agile practices, Domain-Driven Design, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous delivery. You will also have the opportunity to build and operate cloud-native applications on AWS and support reliable delivery and operations through infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring.

- A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering or sciences), a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience
- Curiosity about cloud-native development, distributed systems and AWS
- A quality and security mindset, with attention to clean, maintainable and reliable code
- An interest in complex financial workflows and the motivation to learn quickly
- A solid understanding of object-oriented programming, API development, relational databases and automated testing
- Clear communication skills, a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
- An interest in Domain-Driven Design and translating business requirements into clear software solutions
- Practical experience with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot, gained through internships, working-student roles, personal projects or university projects
