Full Stack Engineer

We're building Fika Jobs to rethink how people find jobs and how companies find talent.

We're an AI-first company building a completely new kind of hiring experience, where AI agents help candidates tell their stories and companies discover people they would otherwise miss.

We're looking for an exceptional Full-Stack Engineer who loves building products, takes pride in their craft, and wants to have a meaningful impact.

• Own features end-to-end, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution to building, shipping, and improving it.
• Build beautiful, intuitive product experiences and the systems that power them.
• Work across the stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services, AI agents, and integrations.
• Make technical and product decisions with a focus on quality, simplicity, and speed.
• Work closely with the founders, designers, and other engineers to shape the product and its direction.
• Experiment with the latest AI tools and technologies to push the boundaries of what's possible.

We're looking for someone who sees engineering as a craft, not just writing code.

• High agency. You figure things out, take initiative, and find a way forward even when the problem is ambiguous.
• Strong product sense. You care about what you're building and why. You think about the user, not just the implementation.
• Pride in your craft. You care deeply about quality, thoughtful details, and building things that feel exceptional.
• End-to-end ownership. You don't just complete tickets. You take responsibility for making sure what you build actually works and creates value.
• Fast and pragmatic. You know when to move quickly, when to invest in quality, and how to balance both.
• Constantly learning. You're naturally curious, excited about AI, and always exploring better ways to build.

You're comfortable working across modern web technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, APIs, and databases. Experience building AI-powered products is a plus.

But more than any particular technology, we care about your ability to solve hard problems and ship exceptional products.

You'll join a small, highly ambitious team where engineers have real ownership over both product and technology.

There are no layers of bureaucracy or endless handoffs. You'll work on challenging problems, ship things that real people use, and have a direct say in what we build.

We're looking for people who want more than just another engineering job. People who want to build something they're genuinely proud of, alongside others who feel the same way.
