Join Workday's Agent Factory, where you'll be part of a small, cross-functional AI team that creates intelligent agents used by millions of people every day. As a Software Engineer, you'll design and ship full stack solutions, collaborate closely with machine learning engineers and product managers, and see your work run in production. This role is about turning powerful technology into products that simplify complex business processes for customers around the world.
- Bachelor’s (Master’s or PhD preferred) degree in engineering, computer science, physics, math or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating highly scalable, distributed systems in production
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3+ years of proven experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Familiarity with the tradeoffs and architecture of modern distributed systems
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Knowledge of software development best practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability)
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
- Experience working within fast-paced, agile environments and multi-functional teams
