We are looking for a Data Engineer:
Main Responsibilities
- Perform and document data analysis to support business and technical requirements
- Design, define, and validate data models for multiple use cases
- Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions, including ETL/ELT pipelines and datamart design
- Optimize data processes, focusing on query performance and memory management best practices
- Provide support and troubleshooting for data-related issues
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to define and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Technical Requirements
- Advanced SQL expertise
- Strong experience with Oracle databases
- Proven experience with SSIS (minimum 2 years)
- Professional experience with Python
- Experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake, etc.)
- Familiarity with Git (preferably Bitbucket)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Experience with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory
- Understanding of data governance and data quality practices
