• passion for solving complex problems and delivering maintainable, production-quality software
• strong Python and relational database experience, preferably PostgreSQL
• hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience, ideally with GitLab pipelines
• knowledge of Azure Functions or similar serverless, event-driven platforms, including triggers, bindings and scaling
• knowledge of Azure Service Bus or similar messaging technology, including queues, topics, publish/subscribe and error handling
• strong data-flow engineering skills across ingestion, transformation and orchestration; Azure Data Factory or similar is a plus
• strong AI-assisted development experience, ideally with GitHub Copilot, agents, reusable skills and effective prompting
• experience with full-text search engines, including designing indexes and implementing data indexing and search using Azure AI Search
• experience in web UI development with React is a plus

Based in Wroclaw, Poland, you’ll join the Communications Surveillance crew, working in autonomous pods within the Agile@UBS framework. Together, we build innovative tools that digitize and automate communications monitoring and review. You’ll help deliver a new in-house electronic communications surveillance platform spanning unstructured-data processing, model-driven alert generation, and a user interface for alert review and disposition.
