To support the NASA Aerospace Capabilities Portfolio Office, the full-time Python Software Developer will develop and maintain software and data applications, build data pipelines, and implement analytics features in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and operate software and data applications supporting ACPO
- Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows that prepare, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources
- Implement applied analytics and machine learning features that support ACPO analysis and decision making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or business
- Strong, demonstrated proficiency in Python
- Foundational software development skills, such as building applications and working with data
- Must be willing to undergo a background investigation for a position of NASA Public Trust; US Citizenship required
