Client Deployment Role Description
We are looking for an experienced AML Business Data & Financial Crime Systems Analyst to work with us here at Albany Beck, supporting one of our financial services clients in Ireland.
This is a hybrid Financial Crime, systems and data role, working closely across AML Operations, Compliance, Technology and Data & Analytics teams.
The successful candidate will support and continuously improve the systems, data, reporting and operational processes that underpin AML, Customer Risk Assessment, Screening and Transaction Monitoring activities.
A key focus of the role will be the oversight and enhancement of Financial Crime platforms, including Oracle FCCM, Oracle Compliance Studio, LexisNexis and Oracle Analytics Cloud, alongside identifying opportunities to automate manual AML processes and improve the quality and accessibility of Financial Crime data.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation, administration and enhancement of key Financial Crime systems.
- Act as a business SME for Oracle FCCM, Oracle Compliance Studio and associated AML platforms.
- Support system configuration, testing, validation, issue resolution and change requests.
- Work with Technology teams and vendors to resolve system issues and improve platform performance.
- Gather and translate AML business requirements into system and data changes.
- Support user access management, system controls and operational procedures.
- Maintain documentation relating to Financial Crime systems, processes and architecture.
- Produce, validate and maintain AML management information, reporting and analytical datasets.
- Support regulatory, governance and risk reporting requirements.
- Work with Data & Analytics teams to improve the quality, accessibility and governance of AML data.
- Support transaction monitoring scenario optimisation and wider Financial Crime analytics initiatives.
- Identify manual and repetitive AML processes that can be automated or streamlined.
- Design and support automated workflows, controls and reporting solutions.
- Work with tools such as Power BI, Power Platform and wider Data & Analytics technologies.
- Support continuous improvement across Transaction Monitoring, Screening and Customer Risk Assessment processes.
- Contribute to the development of a more modern, data-driven Financial Crime operating model.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience within AML, Financial Crime or Financial Crime Technology.
- Experience supporting Financial Crime systems such as Oracle FCCM, Oracle Compliance Studio or similar Transaction Monitoring platforms.
- Good understanding of AML processes including Transaction Monitoring, Screening and Customer Risk Assessment.
- Experience working with data, reporting and management information within a Financial Crime environment.
- Experience supporting system changes, testing, UAT, issue resolution and platform enhancements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively across AML Operations, Compliance, Technology and Data teams.
- Experience identifying and delivering process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Hands-on experience with Oracle FCCM.
- Experience with Oracle Compliance Studio.
- Experience with LexisNexis.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- SQL experience.
- Power BI and/or Power Platform experience.
- Experience with AML regulatory reporting.
- Exposure to Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements.
- Experience with transaction monitoring scenario optimisation.
- Experience with data governance, data quality or advanced analytics.
- Exposure to machine learning or Data Science within Financial Crime.
