- Embedded systems based on Linux operating system
- Experience with software design patterns
- Debugging of complex systems
- Peer code reviews; writing unit, integration, and functional tests
- CI/CD tooling using GitLab and Jenkins
- Design and architecture of complex software systems
- Agile software development and JIRA bug tracking tools
- Diagnosing, investigating, and resolving production issues
- Will also accept Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the position or a related occupation
- Performance optimization, memory management, and multi-threaded development
- API design considerations and tradeoffs
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Consumer Electronics and media codecs, streaming experience
- Experience developing SDKs, APIs, or developer tools
- 5 years of progressive experience in the position or a related occupation
- Front-end application development for embedded devices
- C++ programming and Python scripting language
- Must have at least 3 years of prior work experience in the following:
- Data structure and algorithm implementation
